Accessibility statement
We want our websites to work for as many people as possible, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, large text or a small screen.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on xaglobal.app. We have not had an independent audit, so we do not claim full conformance. This statement describes what we have done and what we know is still missing.
What is in place
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, and one main heading per page.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, and the focus position is visible.
- Three appearances, chosen in the footer: Light, Dark and Brite (a high-colour-contrast style). Your choice is remembered in your browser.
- Text that resizes, and layouts that work from a phone to a wide screen without sideways scrolling.
- Animation is reduced or removed if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pictures of the apps have text descriptions, and form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
- Language choices in the bar at the top. Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and Thai are full translations. Other languages are partly translated and switch the rest back to English.
What we know is not good enough yet
- The apps themselves (TeacherBot, Secure IEP and the others) are separate products with their own pages. We have not yet tested each one against WCAG, and some screens may be hard to use with assistive technology.
- The education website is a large site that is still being improved.
- AI replies are text produced on demand, and we cannot check each one for readability.
- Some pictures of the apps are screenshots, so text inside them is not readable by a screen reader. The page text describes what they show.
Tell us about a problem
If something on our site is hard to use, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened, and the device or assistive technology you use if you are happy to share it. We will read every message and tell you what we can do.
